Gardening sprayer Evolution 2

Evolution 2 is the latest addition to the Evolution family, the little brother that has been making a big splash in Matabi's garden range.

Its all about advantages

This sprayer has one and a half liter capacity, it is an evolution of the constant learning we have at Matabi thanks to the feedback we get from our end users.

The Evolution 2 has a large filling opening with a diameter of 8 centimeters to facilitate the entry of the liquid into the tank. When you finish the application, you can place it on any type of floor thanks to its stable base that also makes it look very original and designy.

Inside, it contains a depressurizable safety valve, an adjustable conical nozzle to adjust the spray to the application that best suits your needs and two features that make the evolution 2 the winner in ergonomics among Matabi's smallest sprayers: A very comfortable grip and a comfortable button (actuator).

And for a more precise application, take a look at the Evolution 2 additional accessories, which are easy to assemble with no need of using tools.

Suitable for treatments with natural origin

So it is. Each and every part of the Evolution 2 has been designed and manufactured with high resistance to natural herbicides and insecticides.

That is why today in Matabi we are going to talk to you about 3 natural treatments that work really well:

1) Garlic insecticide

Garlic is well known for its pungent aroma, which is delicious to some but repellent to others, and it is this strong aroma that comes into play when used as a natural insecticide.

It's actually not very clear if garlic spray is actually insecticidal or more likely bug repellent, but either way, this common ingredient in our kitchens can be used to kill insect pests in the garden.

Pesticide based in garlic

To make a basic garlic spray, take two whole bulbs and puree them in a blender or food processor with a small amount of water (one liter). Let the mixture sit overnight, then strain into a quart jar, add a half cup of vegetable oil (optional), a teaspoon of mild liquid soap, and enough water to fill your Evolution 2.

To use this homemade insecticide, use a mixing cup with a liter of water and spray liberally on the infested plants.

2) The benefits of tomato leaves

This is a little known remedy, but it works very well as a natural pesticide.

Tomato plants are part of the nightshade family and as such contain alkaloids like the aptly named "tomatina", which can effectively control aphids and other insects.

To make a tomato leaf spray for a natural insecticide, fill two cups of fresh tomato leaves (which you can carefully cut from the bottom of the plant) and pour them into a liter of water. Once inside, let them rest overnight and the next morning you just have to strain the plant material into the wide filler neck of the Evolution 2 and action! Pull the trigger and spray on the foliage of the affected plant.

3) Oil also kills vermin without harming the environment

A homemade insecticide made from vegetable oil mixed with a mild soap can have a devastating effect on certain troublesome insects, such as aphids, mites, thrips, etc. To make a basic oil insecticide, pour a tablespoon of soap into a cup filled with vegetable oil. Cover the cup and shake it well as if it were a Blody Mary.

Now you just have to fill the tank of your new Matabi sprayer with water and add two tablespoons of the home remedy, close the lid tightly, shake it again and spray it directly on the surfaces of the plants that are being affected by small pests.

The oil coats the bodies of the insects, blocking the pores through which they breathe, causing them to suffocate.

Tell us about your experience with the new Evolution 2. At Matabi we are looking forward to hearing from you.
